...The Boston Wedding Group is a not-for-profit organization that unites our area’s leading wedding industry vendors under a single banner. Established in 1995 by wedding invitation professional Arlene Cronk, the Boston Wedding Group is dedicated to making the wedding planning experience easy and fun. By pre-vetting all vendors in the network, brides or grooms can directly access trusted and experienced wedding vendors without spending weeks reading hundreds of reviews and calling dozens of references. Many of the vendors in Boston Wedding Group are award-winning and have received recognition from leading wedding information sources such as The Knot and WeddingWire. Our professionals know that every couples’ goal is to create an unforgettably beautiful affair, and Boston Wedding Group’s goal is to make the journey to get there simple and enjoyable.

Joining the Boston Wedding Group (BWG) is not as easy as filling out a form or paying a membership fee. Applicants must pass a rigorous application process, including in-person interviews as well as inspections of their place of business.

Members are also required to follow our Code of Ethics and attend monthly meetings for continued professional development and engagement with BWG colleagues. Membership per category is limited (typically to three). This ensures that we recommend highly qualified, experienced, innovative and ethical professionals who maintain best business practices.
